HARP LOANS STILL AVAILABLE

HARP LOANS STILL AVAILABLE

Free House

HARP (Home Affordable Refinance Program) refinance home loans are still available and can be a great option for home buyers who have not refinanced their home mortgage and that loan was originated before June 1, 2009.

After the housing collapse several years ago many folks were upside down on equity in their properties. The HARP program was developed to help get into a more sustainable loan program. Whereas the market has recovered substantially there are still applications where the HARP refinance home mortgage would make good sense. One great benefit besides a lower payment or fixed rate product for instance is often an appraisal is not necessary, saving you that cost.

If you are one of those folks who has a loan financed prior to June 1, 2009  and are considering a refinance, then you should check out the benefits of the HARP refinance.  If it fits your needs it can be a smoother less costly transaction than a regular refinance.
